…1/2 pic.twitter.com/mv1muAMxkr

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra slammed the UP government over the incident, saying "This incident of the ruthless thrashing of a Dalit girl in Amethi is condemnable. On average, 34 crimes against Dalits take place every day under your rule, and 135 against women. Yet your [Yogi Adityanath government’s] law and order is sleeping."
"If the criminals are not caught within 24 hours, the Congress will work to wake you up through strong agitations," she said.
