Mukesh Ambani, family get death threat, caller threatens to blow up Reliance hospital in Mumbai

Mumbai, Oct 05, 2022: The Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai received a threat call from an unknown number on Wednesday. The caller threatened to blow up the hospital. Threats were also issued against some members of the Ambani family.

 

The Reliance hospital received the call on their landline number at 12:57 pm on Wednesday.

Following the threat, a case was registered at DB Marg Police Station and further investigation into this matter is being done by the Mumbai Police.

Earlier, the Ambani family had received threats on the helpline number of HN Reliance Hospital on August 15 where the caller had made eight calls. The caller was traced to Dahisar and apprehended and arrested on the same day by the DB Marg police.

Confirming the threat call on Wednesday, Mumbai Police officials said " A call was received on landline number of Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital at 12:57 pm today from an unknown number in which the caller has threatened to blow up the Hospital and has issued threats in name of some members of Ambani family."

A Reliance Industries Limited spokesperson said, “At 12.57 pm today and again at 5.04 pm October 5th, a call was received at the call centre of Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital threatening to blow up the hospital and threatening to take the lives of Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Akash Ambani and Anant Ambani. The caller also threatened to blow up Antilia and gave multiple threats to members of the Ambani family.”

“A police complaint has been registered and we are providing all the necessary details to the police in their investigations,” the statement added.
