Mumbai : 21-year-old woman booked for drink driving, ‘biting’ six cops

Mumbai, Jun 17, 2016: A 21-year-old woman, Gauri Bhide, was arrested by Worli police for allegedly driving drunk and ramming her car in a divider near Podar hospital on Thursday around 1.15am.


drink driving .The girl allegedly also assaulted six policemen posted with Worli police station when she was being interrogated.

An officer with the Worli police station said, “The girl was heavily drunk. She was accompanied by three men, who were in her car. She even bit some of the policemen who tried to stop her when she started abusing everyone.”

The cops are yet to ascertain the place where she had consumed the liquor. She was remanded in police custody.
