A team of 15 officials from the Income Tax Department conducted survey operations at the offices of the BBC in Delhi and Mumbai on February 14. The I-T department authorities carried out the survey on the BBC’s premises, weeks after the Centre had imposed a ban on the BBC’s documentary titled ’India: The Modi Question’. The documentary questioned the role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi (then Gujarat CM) during the 2002 Gujarat riots.
