NIA busts bomb manufacturing unit in Bengaluru, 3 Bangladeshi terror suspects arrested

Bengaluru, Jul 10, 2019 : The National Investigation Agency (NIA) busted a bomb manufacturing unit from Solahdevanahalli area of Bengaluru. The NIA unearthed this arms cache on Sunday after a Burdwan blast accused  Habibur Rehman gave information to the intelligence agency about presence of huge explosives in the area. He revealed this information during an interrogation. JMB Terrorist Arrested in Kolkata as to Yahoo.

The NIA recovered five fabricated hand grenades, one timer device, three electric circuits,suspected explosive substance,different components for making IEDs/rockets incriminating materials from North district of Bengaluru. Three Bangladeshi people were also detained from the location. Initially, two IEDs were seized from an abandoned house near Rehman’s hideout. The JMB operative’s interrogation led to the recovery of a bunch of Al Qaeda propaganda material in Bengali.

The recovery of this cache indicated that Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen  (JMB)  terrorist was probably planning an attack in West Bengal, reported India Today. Earlier, Salahuddin reportedly was seen in West Bengal. The NIA was on a high alert after reports surfaced that he had crossed into India in late 2014. The JMB terrorist has been changing his locations constantly.
