Bengaluru, August 21, 2024: In a significant development amid the ongoing Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) scam, Republic Kannada has obtained a document that allegedly implicates Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his family. The document, which dates back to 2014 during Siddaramaiah’s first term as Chief Minister, suggests a direct contradiction to his previous claims of innocence.
The document reveals that Siddaramaiah’s wife, Parvathi, formally requested MUDA to allocate a prime property in Mysuru to her—a request that appears to clash with Siddaramaiah’s earlier statements denying any such involvement by his family. The most troubling aspect of the document is the apparent attempt to obscure this request. A line specifying the prime location desired by Parvathi was allegedly erased using a whitener, raising concerns about the integrity of the documentation.
This revelation has sparked further controversy, suggesting a possible attempt to mislead authorities and the public. The timing of the cover-up attempt, coming after the land scam began to surface, raises questions about whether there was a deliberate effort to conceal the truth.
