Newborn kidnapped from Govt Medical College in Kerala’s Kottayam

Kottayam, Jan 06, 2022: A newborn was kidnapped from Government Medical College in Kerala’s Kottayam.
The incident happened at around 3.30 pm on Thursday, January 6. According to the mother, the woman came in a nurse’s attire and said that she needed to get the child to the doctor for a check-up.
After waiting for over half an hour, the mother went looking for her child. They deduced that the child could possibly have been kidnapped and the hospital informed Gandhi Nagar police.
The child’s parents are natives of Mundakayam town in Kottayam district.
A case has been filed by the Gandhi Nagar police and investigations are underway.
The police will check the CCTV footage to identify the culprit as soon as possible.
