Nine Indians killed two injured - Road Accident in Dubai.

Dubai, May 12, 2014 : An accident near Dubai, when a bus rammed into a parked truck carrying 29 workers. Thirteen of them were killed on the spot and all the rest were injured in varying degrees. At least nine Indian nationals were among the 13 people killed in accident, the Indian consulate in Dubai confirmed today. A spokesman for the Indian consulate in Dubai says nine Indian nationals had been killed and two injured.
The tentative nationalities of the dead are 9 were from India and 4 from Bangladesh. All 13 were dead by the time paramedics arrived at the scene at around 6.30 a.m. shortly after the accident.The injured were being treated at Rashid Hospital and Al Baraha Hospital in Dubai.
The mangled wreckage of the bus had to be cut open to free the victims, police said. The reason for the accident was suspected to be brake failure.
Sources stated, the consulate is in touch with the survivors and will provide all necessary assistance to them and will duely arrange to fly the bodies of those killed.
