While celebrating the first anniversary of note ban, Prabhu called it as one of the crucial decisions of the government against illegal wealth. The historic move delivered positive results and it was a severe blow to the black money.

While speaking at the party headquarters in Jaipur on Wednesday, Prabhu said that the country is progressing towards a digital economy.

While answering a question at the press conference, Prabhu said, "The government is serious against the black money and has taken several steps to curb it. It has benefited the common man and small traders and the economy is progressing from cash to digital economy."

When asked about the deaths which were reported after the note ban, Prabhu answered, "It is just a misconception because public supported the decision."
