Naragund, Nov 27 2017 (DHNS): The Mahadayi river dispute can be resolved only with the intervention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah here on Monday.
Speaking to reporters in Naragund, a delegation of representatives of all parties had met the PM and various correspondences had been made. "We have done everything we should have. It is for the Prime Minister to resolve the issues confronting the Mahadayi project through his intervention," the CM said.

Replying to a question from reporters, the Chief Minister said that by getting involved in the agitation for a ’separate religion status’ for Lingayats, Mines and Geology Minister might suffer an image damage.
