Islamabad, Mar 20, 2021: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has tested positive for coronavirus, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination said in a tweet on Saturday. On March 18, Imran Khan had taken the first shot of Chinese coronavirus vaccine Sinopharm. Sinopharm, the only vaccine currently available in Pakistan, requires two doses.
As per a report in ANI, China had donated 500,000 doses of Sinopharm to Pakistan on February 1, enabling the country to launch a vaccination drive a day later.

Pakistan PM received the first shot of the vaccine after the second consignment of the vaccine was delivered from China to Pakistan on March 17.
