New Delhi, Mar 23, 2022: The Delhi and Uttar Pradesh police have stepped up vigil after an e-mail threatened a bomb blast in the national capital. The sender of the email claimed to be affiliated with the Tehreek-e-Taliban India outfit.
A senior police officer of the Special Unit of the Delhi Police said a probe has been launched to find out the person who sent the mail.
The UP police said areas around Delhi have been put on alert in view of the threat.
Sarojini Nagar Market President Ashok Randhawa said the local police closed the market early because of a security threat.
