Pulwama Attack Martyr’s widow demands proof of casualties in IAF Air Strikes on JeM camp

New Delhi, Mar 06, 2019 : Days after Shamli, the wife of Pulwama attack martyr demanded proof of Indian Air Force’s strikes on Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) camps in Pakistan’s Balakot, wife of another Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) martyr asked for the evidence of the strikes. Geeta Devi, wife of Pulwama terror attack martyr Ram Vakeel asked the government to provide proof of Pakistani casualties. “As evidence, we have received the bodies of our jawans after Pulwama attack, but there is no such evidence of the airstrikes in Pakistan,” reported The Times of India quoting Geeta as saying. Vakeel’s sister while supporting Geeta said that people should know what exactly had happened. Terming the government’s claims of killing 300 terrorists as false, she added that how do they believe that the strike occurred and terrorists died?

Vakeel is survived by his wife and three sons. He joined his battalion on February 11, just three days before the attack in which 40 CRPF jawans were martyred. JeM claimed the responsibility of the attack. To avenge the attack, the IAF conducted air strikes on JeM terror camps in Pakistan’s Balakot. After the strikes, reports surfaced in the media that around 300 terrorists were killed in the IAF attack. However, till now no official figures released has not given any information regarding the casualties suffered by terrorists in the IAF air strikes.
