New Delhi, Dec 27, 2023: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi will embark upon the second edition of the Bharat Jodo Yatra starting January 14. Renamed as the ’Bharat Nyay Yatra’, the march will cover the eastern to western stretch of the country, beginning from Manipur in the Northeast and concluding in Mumbai in Maharashtra.
As many as 85 districts across 14 states will be covered during Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Nyay Yatra. The march will cover 6,200 kilometres in Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge will flag off the march from Manipur on January 14.
Buses will be the travel mode for the Bharat Nyay Yatra, with the aim of giving maximum access to people. There will be short stretches of walking sporadically during the march.
