Railway Ministry praises woman ticket inspector for collecting over Rs 1 crore in fines

New Delhi, Mar 24, 2023: Rosaline Arokia Mary, a chief ticket inspector from Southern Railway, has recently made headlines for her impressive feat of collecting fines worth Rs. 1.03 crore from irregular and non-ticketed travellers. Her achievement has earned her the applause of the Ministry of Railways as well.

"Showing resolute commitment to her duties, Smt.Rosaline Arokia Mary, CTI (Chief Ticket Inspector) of @GMSRailway, becomes the first woman on the ticket-checking staff of Indian Railways to collect fines of Rs. 1.03 crore from irregular/non-ticketed travellers," reads the caption of the post.
