Rajasthan: Pilot camp asks SC not to pass orders on Speaker’s plea without hearing rebels

New Delhi, Jul 22, 2020: The Supreme Court is likely to hear the plea filed by the Rajasthan Speaker on Thursday. The Speaker had moved SC against the stay order passed by Rajasthan HC, in which the high court had directed Speaker to not act against Sachin Pilot and other rebel MLAs till its verdict.

The court has sent Sanjay Jain, the man accused of offering money to MLAs to topple Ashok Gehlot government, to 2-day police remand.

Following the Speaker’s announcing his decision to move Supreme Court against HC order, the Sachin Pilot camp filed a caveat in the top court. The rebel MLAs urged the SC to not give any order on the petition of the Speaker without hearing their side.
