Mumbai, Oct 26, 2022: Kantara opened in theatres on September 30 and emerged as a blockbuster in Karnataka. It soon worked its magic in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. This established it as a pan-Indian sensation. The film has now added another feature to its cap. Kantara was recently screened at Sadhguru’s Isha Foundation. This is the second film, after the period drama Manikarnika, to be screened at the spiritual organisation. Kantara is an action-thriller, directed by and starring Rishab Shetty.

On Tuesday, October 25, Isha Foundation revealed that Kantra was screened at the organisation and thanked its makers for ’making this happen’.

The tweet read: "Hit Kannada movie "Kantara" is breaking box office records. A team from Hombale Films graciously arranged a special screening of the film at Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore on the festive occasion of Diwali. A special thanks to @hombalefilms and @shetty_rishab for making this happen.(sic)"

Kantara is an action thriller that revolves around Bhootha Kola, a traditional dance for the deity. The film’s cast includes Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, Sapthami Gowda, and Pramod Shetty. It is produced by Vijay Kirgandur under Hombale Films, the banner behind the Yash-led KGF franchise. Kantara is Rishab Shetty’s first release after the comedy drama Harikathe Alla Girikathe. The phenomenal response to Kantara has opened new avenues for the actor-director. He will soon be teaming up with Allu Aravind for a Telugu movie. Rishab has also indicated that it’s possible to transform Kantara into a franchise.
