Robbery: Cashier of Corporation Bank in Dwarka killed, robbers flee with Rs 3 lakh cash

New Delhi, Oct 13, 2018 : Six armed robbers, with their faces masked, barged into Corporation bank in Delhi on Friday afternoon and killed the cashier before escaping with Rs. 3 lakh.  Three persons were also injured. The recorded 90 second footage shows the robbers snatching the rifle from the security guard and beating him up. They then shot at the bank cashier and escaped with the looted money. 

Six masked people entered the bank for committing loot and fired on the cashier Santosh Kumar (25). He and the other injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where Kumar was declared brought dead, the police said.

The accused fled on motorcycles and also snatched the pistol of the security guard, a senior police official said. Police are scanning the CCTV footage of the bank to identify the accused and teams have been formed to trace them, he said.
