Rupee Falls to 9-Month Low of 62.25 Per Dollar

rupes New Delhi, Dec 01, 2014: The rupee was trading at 62.15 vs Friday’s close of 62.0250/0350. The Indian unit hit a low of 62.25 earlier, a level last seen on February 20.

Asian currencies were trading weaker to the dollar on Monday. The dollar topped 119 yen, its highest since July 2007.

RBI policy review due on Tuesday will be in focus.
