Shatrughan Sinha’s wife Poonam Sinha joins Samajwadi Party, may contest from Lucknow

Lucknow, Apr 16, 2019:  Actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha’s wife Poonam Sinha joined the Samajwadi Party on Tuesday. The development was confirmed on Twitter by the Samajwadi Party. Poonam met SP chief Akhilesh Yadav’s wife Dimple Yadav at their residence in Lucknow.

She may contest the Lok Sabha election from the Lucknow parliamentary constituency. However, there is no official confirmation on it yet.
