South Korean man, 50, falls to death while paragliding in Gujarat’s Mehsana

Mehsana, Dec 26, 2022: A 50-year-old South Korean man died in a paragliding accident near Kadi in Mehsana district of Gujarat on Saturday.

The victim, identified as Shin Byeone Moon, fell from a height of 50 feet after the canopy failed to open properly during paragliding.

The canopy of his paraglider failed to open properly because of which he lost balance and fell from a height of 50 feet.

The victim’s friends rushed him to a private hospital in a semi-conscious state where he died during treatment.

According to Inspector Nikunj Patel of Kadi police station, “Shin was on a trip to Vadodara. He and his Korean friend were visiting their acquaintances, who are into paragliding at Visatpura village near Kadi town on Saturday evening. Shine and his friend went paragliding.”

“The case of accident death was registered at Kadi police station and the victim’s relatives and friends in Vadodara and Korean Embassy were informed about the incident he added,” the police official added.
