Tamil Nadu party worker hacked to death in Madurai days after BSP leader murder

Madurai, July 16, 2024: A worker of the Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) was murdered by a group of people in Tamil Nadu’s Madurai on Tuesday morning.
The incident happened on Vallabai Road, while C Balasubramanian was out on a morning walk.
Four unidentified men surrounded him and chased him before murdering him brutally.
The police reached the spot as soon as they received information about the incident.
Balasubramanian was found in a pool of blood on the street.
He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead.
Meanwhile, the police retrieved the CCTV video of the murder and were investigating the case.
The incident happened close to the house of a state minister, where adequate security was deployed.
Balasubramanian is believed to have pending cases against him.
