Telugu actor forced into prostitution rescued in Goa hotel raid

Goa, June 02 2015: A small-time Telugu film actor was rescued from a prostitution racket and her pimp arrested in a raid at a five-star hotel in Goa on Tuesday evening.

The Panaji police said it conducted the raid on Tuesday. Police said the actor claimed she was misguided by the pimp, who had booked a room for her in a five-star hotel in Goa.

The actor has been sent to a protective home in Goa, police said.
