Terrorist killed in encounter with security forces in J&K’s Baramulla

Baramulla, Sep 16, 2023: A terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.

"The encounter started between terrorists and the Army and Baramulla Police in the forward area of Uri, Hathlanga in Baramulla district," the Kashmir Zone Police posted on X (formerly Twitter).

"#BaramullaEncounterUpdate: 1 terrorist killed, search going on," it later updated.

Meanwhile, ongoing encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag entered Day 4 on Saturday, as loud explosions were heard. Drone surveillance was also being used to locate terrorists.
