Three killed in chopper crash off in Mumbai coast

Maharastra, Jan 13, 2018 : A helicopter carrying seven people, including ONGC employees, has lost contact with Air Traffic Control (ATC) 30 nautical miles off Mumbai.

The helicopter lost contact with ATC at 10:35 AM.

"We have already diverted a ship and an aircraft to area," said the Indian Coast Guard.

The helicopter took off from Juhu at 10:20 AM and was scheduled to land at North Field of ONGC at 10:58 AM, but did not reach there.

Search for the missing helicopter is underway. More inputs are awaited.
