Trainer aircraft crashes near Pune, pilot injured

Pune, July 25, 2022: A 22-year-old woman pilot was injured after a trainer aircraft crashed in a farm in Kadbanwadi village of Indapur in Maharashtra’s Pune on Monday.
Pune SP Dr Abhinav Deshmukh said the aircraft belongs to Carver Aviation Company, an institute that trains pilots.
Bhavika Rathod, the trainee pilot, attempted the emergency landing after the plane developed a technical snag. The pilot, who suffered minor injuries, has been admitted to Navjivan Hospital.
The incident happened at 11.30 am.
