Truck rams into woman on scooty, drags her for 3 km in UP’s Banda

Banda, Jan 04, 2023: Days after a 20-year-old girl was killed after being dragged beneath a Baleno car for 12 kms in the national capital, a similar incident came to light on Wednesday when a female teacher riding a scooty was hit by a truck and dragged her body for 3 kilometers. The ghastly incident took place in Mawai Buzurg village of Uttar Pradesh’s Banda district.
As per initial reports, the truck caught fire as the woman’s body got stuck in the cecchis.
Fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire and police are trying to get the victim’s body out of the truck. Further details are awaited.
