Tumakuru girl shot dead in Bengaluru school, gets first class in II PU exams

Tumkur, May 18, 2015:  The deceased R. Gautami, who was shot dead by a school attendant in Bengaluru, has passed the II PU examination with first class. She was a Science student.

R. Gautami was shot dead by a school attendant in the hostel room of a residential school in Bengaluru where she was studying, on March 31. Gautami was the daughter of T. Ramesh and R. Lakshmi hailing from Pathanjalinagar in Pavagada town in Tumakuru district.

Gautami’s father, T. Ramesh said that his daughter has scored first class with 78.6 per cent and total marks of 472. He said that Gautami had mentioned that the physics paper was tough.

Gautami’s marks are as: Physics - 62, Chemistry - 71, Mathematics - 80, Biology - 95, Kannada - 76 and English - 88.

“What will I do with her result when she is not alive,” said Mr. Ramesh.
