Vijayendra seeks Amit Shah’s intervention to resolve factionalism in Karnataka BJP unit

New Delhi, January 2, 2025: BJP state president B Y Vijayendra on Wednesday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and requested him to intervene to resolve the factionalism in the state unit.

Vijayendra, who met Shah here to extend new year greetings, learnt to have told him about the factionalism and explained the need of the intervention by the central leaders to resolve the problems, at the earliest.

He also told Shah about the parallel anti Waqf rallies planned by the rebel leaders led by senior leader Basanagouda Patil Yatnal while stressing for stopping such parallel rallies in the interest of the party, sources in the party said.

On social media platform X, Vijayendra said that “the BJP activities in the state including strengthening the organisation and the party’s fight against the Congress ruled government have been explained to Amit Shaji.”



Corruption allegations against the state ministers and the state government targeting opposition parties leaders by foisting false cases also explained the central leader, he posted.

The meeting with Shah gave me inspiration to further strengthen the organisation and continue our fight against the Congress ruled state governmen," Vijayendra added.
