WHO probing Indian cough syrup after 66 children die in Gambia

New Delhi, Oct 05, 2022: The World Health Organisation (WHO) on Wednesday said it is probing an Indian cough syrup.

The probe was launched after 66 children died in Gambia, news agency AFP reported.

The health agency warned that four cough and cold syrups made by Maiden Pharmaceuticals in India could be linked to the deaths of 66 children and also issued an alert.
