Watch: How notes stored in mobile cover catch fire, damage the phone

Nowadays, almost everyone owns a phone, as most of their daily activities can be done using this electronic device. Mobile phones help people stay in touch with their loved ones, click pictures, manage transactions and offer many other facilities. Recently, many people have been spotted keeping their money in the case of their phones.

People keep notes on the back side of their phones inside a cover. This helps them avoid a wallet or a purse. The note is safely kept there and nobody can even steal it. But recently, a video went viral on social media where the note got burned due to the heat of the phone.

 


In a video that is going viral on Instagram, a woman can be seen explaining that keeping notes on the back side of the phone can be dangerous as it can catch fire and cause damage to the phone as well as the user. In the clip, it is explained that the speed of the processor causes the phone to heat, which can burn the note that is kept on the backside. The note, along with the paper, is made up of various chemicals that can easily catch fire when heated and can damage the whole phone as well. This can cause the user a lot of damage that can even be fatal for them, resulting in a lot of injuries.

The clip also showed pictures of a damaged phone that was completely shattered and burned due to the burning of the note. The video was uploaded by an Instagram user, @anamikaversatile. She captioned it, “If you are keeping money in your phone cover, then you must watch this video.”

As soon as the clip was uploaded on Instagram, it garnered a lot of attention, and people were shocked to see what a burning note could do to the phone. People went to the comment section and expressed themselves. One of the users wrote, “Thanks for the information. Will be more careful now.” Another user commented, “I’m shocked to see this. Very dangerous.”

So far, the clip has 12.6 million views and 160K likes on Instagram.
