Woman drowns her 3 children, ends life in Belgaum district

Belagavi, March 5, 2025: A woman from Chinchali village in Raibag taluk of Belgaum district, unable to bear harassment at home due to different issues, murdered her three children by drowning them in the river Krishna before jumping in and drowning herself on Wednesday.
The incident took place at Chinchali village in Raibag taluk.
The deceased were identified as Sharda Dhale (38), her daughters Anusha (10), Amruta (14) and her son Adarsh (8).
Fire and Emergency Services personnel are searching for the bodies of deceased and the Kuduchi police have reached the spot.
