Bangalore, May 24, 2014: B S Yeddyurappa, former CM has been an irritant and embarrasment to the top BJP brass which is seriously preparing to form a high profile BJP central govt. after its land slide election victory throught India.
Yeddiyurappa with his posturing, lobbyng and further letter writing to PM designate Narendra Modi with expressions of cordiality is only to serve the opposite purpose. A senior BJP leader said, “Yeddyurappa’s letter to Modi is uncalled-for. Besides, it is surprising that the letter was released to the media.
Suspecting that Yeddyurappa is trying to pressure Modi to induct him into the ministry, the party leader said: “If he is aspiring for any post, he could have conveyed it to party President Rajnath Singh instead of going to the media.” Central leaders suspect that some of his close associates are misleading and instigating the Lingayat leader.
After the government formation at the Centre, party leaders are likely to summon Yeddyurappa and advise him not to go to the media on any issue. Apparently, after getting the hint from the central leadership that he would not be made a minister in the new government, Yeddyurappa, sent a letter to Modi saying he was willing to work for the party in the state.
The hyper antics of this extrovert RSS trained activist are looked upon with interest.
