Mangalore, Sept. 07, 2022: Reliance group led by Mukesh Ambani, is said have been eyeing the famous local softdrink brand ’Bindu’ based out of Puttur in Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka, about 60 KMs from Mangalore city.
Market analysts said that Reliance is ready to buy the locally started ’Bindu’ brand along with BIndu’s flagship product BINDU FIZZ JEERA MASALA at an undisclosed amount.
Recently, Reliance had bought soft drinks brand ’Campa’ from Delhi-based Pure Drinks Group for Rs 22 crore. How many more popular brands like this are going to be added to the basket?
But BIndu brand owner Satyashankar Bhat has refused the Reliance offer, local kannada news daily SuddiBidugade reported quoting Bhat.

We aim to take the company to a Rs.1000 crore business, Bhat reportedly said.
Bindu brand owned by SG Corporates which started its business with Bindu Mineral Water in Puttur, Dakshina Kannada district 1994. The company launched Bindu Fizz Jeera in 2002 was not only hugely popular but also took the company to new heights. Apart from this, the company also produces other beverages under the Bindu brand. Bindu Mineral Water, Jeera, Sipan, Energy Drink.
