2 Youths from the city died in car accident near Bellur Cross

Mangaluru, Feb 19 2019: Two youths from the city died on the spot in Innova car accident near Bellur cross in Mandya district on Monday February 18.

The deceased are Imtiaz (20) son of Kundala Badruddin from Adyar and Muhammed Shahnawaz (19) son of Abdulla from Jarandabettu near Kannur, was a student of private college in Mangaluru.

Muzammil, Safwan and Mustaq sustained grave injuries in the accident. Shahnawaz, Hidayatullah, Sharwan, Muhammed Shaqir, Salman Farish, and Shahnawaz escaped with minor injuries. All of them are from Kannur.

It is learnt that Imtiaz along with his friends were on their way to Bengaluru from Kannur in Innova car. As the tyre of the vehicle burst all of a sudden, it went out of the control hitting the compound of a roadside Dhaba. Due to the impact Imtiaz and Muhammed Shahnawaz died on the spot.
