233 students absent for SSLC Mathematics exam in Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru, March 24, 2025: On the second day of the SSLC exams, the Mathematics exam was held on Monday, with 233 students absent in the district.
In Dakshina Kannada district, 13,706 students from the Kannada medium and 15,290 students from the English medium had registered for the Mathematics exam. Among them, 13,496 Kannada medium students and 15,248 English medium students appeared for the exam.
14 Candidates Appeared for Social Science Exam
Specially-abled students (primarily visually impaired) who are exempted from Mathematics and Science exams in SSLC are given the option to write Social Science instead of Mathematics and Political Science instead of Science. Accordingly, in Dakshina Kannada district, 13 students from the Kannada medium and two from the English medium had registered for the Social Science exam. Among them, 12 students from the English medium appeared for the exam, while one was absent.
In total, 234 students who had registered for the exams were absent, according to DDPI Govind Madiwala.
