Beltangady, Nov 14, 2023: In an incident of sexual assault, a 43-year-old man was arrested for  raping and impregnating a 10th-grade  girl in Beltangady. The accused is identified as Keshav (43). He was known to the girl’s family and was a frequent visitor.

The family became aware of the incident when the girl became pregnant. The girl’s mother reported the matter to the Beltangady police, who have now arrested the accused and are conducting an investigation.
