Belthangady, Jan 16, 2024: A seven year old boy met a tragic end when he accidentally slipped and fell into a well while playing with friends at Panakaje in Sonandur of Belthangady taluk on January 15, Monday evening.

The deceased is Mohammad Anan. He was playing with friends in his neighbourhood as it was a holiday for school. As soon as it came to light that he has fallen into the well, locals brought him out of the well and rushed him to Belthangady Government Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.
