Activist Sunil Bajilakeri arrested for offence FB post

Mangaluru, Oct 08, 2022: Bajpe police have arrested social activist Sunil Bajilakeri on the charges of offending pregnant woman by morphing the photo of a pregnant woman and pasting the face of the cheetah.

Sunil in his Facebook post using the edited photo and had questioned ’’When is the baby shower for Namibia cheetah?.’’ His post had targeted the Namibian cheetahs that were recently brought to India.

A woman from Edapadavu had lodged a complaint against him alleging that his post was an insult to pregnant women as well as Indian culture.

Sunil who was earlier associated with Hindu organisations has of late turned into a staunch critic of BJP leaders and government.

Last here too he was arrested on the charges of doctoring an audio clip pertaining to the interview of State BJP Chief Nalin Kumar Kateel.
