Agumbe Ghat mishap: Injured young woman from Barkur succumbs in hospital

Udupi, June 19, 2023: Nineteen year old Nirmitha from Barkur who was seriously injured in a bike mishap at Agumbe Ghat in Tirthahalli taluk on June 18, Sunday, has succumbed to her injuries at a hospital in Manipal on Monday.
It may be recalled here that Shashank (21) who was riding the bike had died on the spot when their bike hit a bus on Sunday. The two hailed from Nagarmutt in Barkur and were relatives. A total of six members of a family from Barkur had been to the Agumbe sunset point in three motor bikes.
The deceased Shashank was an engineering graduate. Nirmitha who had completed second PUC had got admission to a college.
