Akshata Murder Case: Police take accused to the crime spot.

Mangaluru: June 20, 2015: The police on Saturday detained the accused Sunil (19) in the Akshata Murder case and took him to the crime spot with heavy police security.

 

 

 

 

 

The locals staged protest when the accused was taken to the crime spot, which led to dispute between police and locals. When the locals protested aggressively, the police took the accused back to the police station so that the accused is not attacked.

The police again got him to the spot, but with heavy security. The locals then demanded police to remove the black mask and show his face, but the police did not agree and refused to unmask.  The locals shouted slogans and demanded stringent punishment to the accused.

The police finally convinced the locals and carried out the investigation. Kundapur Dysp, circle inspectors and other officials were present.
