Mangaluru, January 24, 2025: The Akshaya Patra Foundation, Mangalore, is set to host a significant event on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at its campus in Benjanapadavu. The event will mark the inauguration of the Foundation’s green initiatives and the official launch of ISKCON Mangalore’s Govardhan Hills Centre for Culture and Education.

The Akshaya Patra Foundation, known for serving 20,000 nutritious meals daily to children, has successfully completed green initiatives worth ₹1 crore. These initiatives include the installation of a zero-chemical biological effluent water treatment unit and an extensive plantation drive on the campus, showcasing the organization’s dedication to environmental sustainability.

Adding to the occasion, ISKCON Mangalore will formally unveil the Govardhan Hills Centre for Culture and Education. This ambitious project aims to promote holistic education, skill development, and spiritual well-being. The center is envisioned as a transformative hub for cultural and educational activities.

The event, set to begin at 10:00 AM and conclude by 1:00 PM, will feature the presence of prominent personalities, thought leaders, and well-wishers. Attendees will join in taking resolutions and offering prayers for the successful establishment of these initiatives. Lunch will be provided for all participants.
