Ankola woman gives birth to triplets at Udupi Mother and Child Hospital

Udupi, July 07, 2022: A woman of Ankola origin has given birth to triplets at the Koosamma Shambhu Shetty Memorial and Haji Abdulla Mother and Child Hospital in Udupi. This is the first time that triplets were born in the hospital.

 

A team of doctors including Dr Kavisha Bhat, Dr Rajani Karanth,Dr Sooryanarayana,Dr Ganapathi Hegade and Dr Mahadeva Bhat performed a ceaseran surgery on the 27 year old woman belonging to the Siddi tribe.

Hospital sources said the  mother and babies are doing fine.
