Another exemplary act: Bus crew rush ill lady passenger to hospital

Udupi, August 5, 2024: In yet another case of exemplary humanitarian act, the crew of a private bus of Udupi rushed a young woman who fell ill while travelling, to a hospital in time. The incident took place on Monday morning.

A bus named Naveen was on way to Udupi from Shirva when a young woman all of a sudden fell ill. She vomited and was almost unconscious when the bus was nearing the old taluk office.

The bus crew immediately diverted the bus to a nearby private hospital. There the woman was administered treatment. Later, the bus driver Shashikanth and conductor Saleem informed the woman’s family members and waited until they arrived to the hospital.

The bus crew have won much acclaim for their presence of mind. It may be recalled here that the crew of a private bus of Mangaluru had recently saved the life of a female student who suffered chest pain, by rushing the bus straight to the hospital.
