Belthangady, September 21, 2024: Another leopard was trapped in the cage placed by the Forest Department in Savanalu village. This is the second leopard trapped in the region.

The cage was placed near the residence of Anand Shetty in Gurikanda of the village. It may be recalled here that leopard menace in the area has given sleepless nights for people of the area.

On September 1, a leopard was trapped in the cage and was released in the forest. Following complaints of locals that their hens were missing, cage was again placed last week.
