B R Shetty to set up 400 bed super-speciality hospital in Udupi district

Mangaluru, Aug 25, 2016 : The B R Shetty Ventures Pvt Ltd owned by noted NRI entrepreneur B R Shetty of Udupi origin will be setting up a 400 bed super speciality hospital and a Government Community Health Centre at Moodanidambur village in Udupi district. The State Cabinet has on August 24, Wednesday given its in-principle approval to provide land for the hospital.
It has been gathered that BR Shetty’s company will be investing Rs 200 crore on the project .
Law Minister T B Jayachandra has said that the land will be leased out to the company for 30 years and that a memorandum of understanding will be signed with the company after duly consulting legal experts.
