Mangalore, Dec 19: Shri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust of BGS Education Centre, Kavoor, organized Guruvandana along with the valedictory programme of its Decennial Year celebrations today in the premises of the school.
Justice N Santhosh, Lokayukta, government of Karnataka, was the chief guest of the occasion. He stressed on the importance of bringing about change in the society. The current attitude of the society must change in order to foster development and in order to create a peaceful India free of corruption. He said that corruption in so rampant in all the sectors that even the GDP has failed to give the exact figure. People in authority find it very difficult to deal with such issues; but responsible citizens need not sit quiet. They can question such activities and lead the country in the proper direction. He concluded by saying that a good society is the result of positive social changes.
