Mangalore, Dec 25: B. K. Stating that Karnataka has become famous for the corrupt activities of its politicians, he said that the Padmapriya case, Halappa case, and the Renukacharya case have completely spoiled the reputation of the state.

Condemning BJP President Nithin Gadkari’s support of the CM, he said that Gadkari had celebrated his son’s marriage grandly and that a large amount of money was found in his house when it was raided.

Recalling that Lokayukta Justice Santhosh Hegde was forced to resign for his statement that all the ministers in the BJP government are corrupt, he said that it must be questioned if the Lokayukta will excuse the ministers if they returned all the money they had gained through corruption.

Informing that the BJP had placed several ads in the papers regarding development schemes for farmers, he said that no development has actually taken place. Condemning the Hindu Samajotsavas organized by Hindu activists, he said that these events are held on to collect votes and not out of love for religion. He added that Hindu activists are the Osama Bin Ladens of the country.

He also stated that, while JD (S) leaders are good at gaining publicity, Hindutva is nothing but a political tool and has nothing religious about it.

T. K. Sudhir, P. V. Mohan, Shashidhar Hegde, and others were also present.
