nagaraj shettyMangalore, Dec 27: Speaking about the achievements of the BJP during the past 2-and-a-half years, Coastal Development Authority Chairman B. Nagaraj Shetty said that BJP workers are going from house to house as part of the party’s election campaign. He was addressing reporters at a press meet held at the district office of the BJP on Dec 27, Monday.


Confirming that the BJP, which began as a party of the majority and the high caste people, is now a party for all irrespective of caste, community, or religion, he said that Governor H. R. Bharadwaj is losing his mental peace owing to the frequent visits of JD (S) and Congress leaders and that’s why he makes public statements regarding mental peace. No other governor in India permits political leaders to visit them regularly, he added.


Stating that the BJP is a minority friendly party, he said that several Muslim friends are extending their support to the BJP, having realized this fact.


Informing that the BJP won 27 Zilla Panchayat seats last polls, he expressed confidence that the BJP will win 30 seats these polls. Stating that the BJP has won in Puttur, BC Road, Sullia, and Bantwal, he said that the Congress won only in Belthangady.


Nithin Kumar, the vice president of BJP, and Devdas Shetty, the general secretary, were present.
