BJP leaders resorting to politics over murders, alleges Ramanatha Rai

Mangaluru, July 17, 2023: State BJP Chief Nalin Kumar has been often alleging failure of law and order in the state under the Congress rule even though it is not even two months since the new government came to power, said senior Congress leader B Ramanatha Rai.

 

Speaking to reporters at the Congress office on July 17, Monday, Rai said the BJP leaders have begun resorting to politics over murders and are trying to create an impression that murders took place only during Congress rule.

The BJP leaders must stop making such statements, he said adding no Congress worker or leader is involved in such murders, but most were those belonging to communal organisation and BJP, he alleged.

“No Congress leaders make provocative speeches,” Rai asserted and demanded an SIT probe into the murders of Vinayak Baliga, Prashanth Poojary, Sharath Madivala, Deepak, Fazil and Jaleel.

 He said the party leaders would meet the Chief Minister and submit a memorandum in this regard.
